On July 23, 2020, at approximately 0124 hours, the Swanzey Police responded to a burglary alarm located at Route 10 Mini-mart. Upon officer’s arrival, they observed the front window to the store had been broken an unknown suspect had made entry. The building was cleared and it was determined the suspect had fled the scene. It was also determined alcohol and cigarettes had been stolen from the store.
Swanzey Police initiated a criminal investigation into the matter. As a result of the investigation, an arrest warrant for
Darryl Hudson Jr.
of Swanzey, NH
was issued charging him with Burglary. Hudson was subsequently taken into custody by the Keene Police Department and was held on a probation violation. Hudson is currently being preventively detained on both burglary and probation charges at the Cheshire County House of Corrections.
The Keene Police and New Hampshire Department of Probation and Parole assisted in this investigation.
