Where do I apply for a dog license?
Come to the Town Clerk's office at Swanzey Town Hall.
The State of New Hampshire requires all dogs to be licensed by the time they are three months old. The registrant is required to produce a valid rabies certificate for the dog and, if applicable, a spaying/neutering certificate. With proper documentation and fee, licenses can be obtained by mail. Licenses are issued annually with an expiration date of April 30, each year. Initial licenses are not pro-rated.
