Request from Records/Reports


The Swanzey Police Department will charge a set rate for providing copies of reports and the following 
schedule is to be followed.
Generally, reports are available within 10 business days from the date of occurrence.  (Calls for Service
will be available the next business day.)

Front Office Hours: Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Closed on Holidays.

Fees for paperwork:
1 -25 pages           $15.00
26-50 pages        $20.00
51 - 150 pages      $30.00
151-200 pages      $40.00
Videos                    $25.00 ea.
DVD/CD/Audio     $15.00 ea.

Any request for over 100 pages will be reviewed and an estimate will be provided for the total cost.
Requests to review or inspect an individual report or record shall be honored during normal business
hours (8:00 - 4:00 - Monday through Friday) while the employee maintains control of the document.
A more detailed or involved examination will only take place following authorization by the Chief of Police
after a written request is received. A search of public records may incur expenses, and the person for
whom the search is made may be assessed the actual expense of such a search.
